I swore I wouldn't start a new project until a current WIP was finished. There are tooooooooo many on the go. But this Storyboek fabric (from Fabricworm who I absolutely LOVE and not just because I accidentally got sent a two half yards instead of fat quarters) is just too darn cute and I wanted to see what a couple of fussy-cut bits looked like framed.
It's nice, isn't it? I'm going to do floating squares but not sure what colour background. Either off-white or grey I think. But I feel that grey is going to go out of fashion faster. I'll put this on the backburner until I have finished some others - I can feel happy now I know what this fabric wants to be.
The shingles virus gave me a day off (to go to work yesterday) but reared its ugly head again as a fever last night. I ate toast, watched
OH, and stay tuned tomorrow for my promised first ever giveaway! I've preset it to upload - glad I figured out how to do that - to fit in with WIP Wednesday. :)
The blocks are wonderful. Shingles is a bear. I'd say do what you have to do to make it livable. I'm not calling the quilt police.
