Confession

Forgive me quilters for I have sinned.
I swore I wouldn't start a new project until a current WIP was finished. There are tooooooooo many on the go.  But this Storyboek fabric (from Fabricworm who I absolutely LOVE and not just because I accidentally got sent a two half yards instead of fat quarters) is just too darn cute and I wanted to see what a couple of fussy-cut bits looked like framed.
It's nice, isn't it? I'm going to do floating squares but not sure what colour background. Either off-white or grey I think. But I feel that grey is going to go out of fashion faster. I'll put this on the backburner until I have finished some others - I can feel happy now I know what this fabric wants to be.

The shingles virus gave me a day off (to go to work yesterday) but reared its ugly head again as a fever last night. I ate toast, watched True Blood documentaries and napped today - was too tired to sew. I didn't even have the energy to start reading the trashy romance novels literary works that arrived from Book Depository. So I hope I can be forgiven two little blocks of a new project.

OH, and stay tuned tomorrow for my promised first ever giveaway! I've preset it to upload - glad I figured out how to do that - to fit in with WIP Wednesday. :)

    The blocks are wonderful. Shingles is a bear. I'd say do what you have to do to make it livable. I'm not calling the quilt police.

    Hope you feel better soon. Had to look up what shingles were. Defenitely no fun! I love TB and documantaries ;-) You gotta do whatever keeps you distracted!
