Just after I posted my Australian Bird mugrug entry, I read some other blogs and found that Annabella over at Life's Rich Pattern had coincidentally received a Morroccan colour themed mugrug from a kind soul in California! Which got me thinking - what would a blog-roll-call of Mug Rugs of the World look like? How many countries or places could I get to link up? What country-themed fabric do you have in your stash that would make a mugrug? Check out the new page - Mug Rugs of the World - and let me know if I can add yours!
I follow loads of quilters in the US, a few in Britain (Kerry in England and Rhianon in Scotland, Annabella in Morrocco and Julie in Japan. I'd love to add some more!
It looks like fun. I can make you a Japanese one if you don't mind it done by hand.

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through a Twitter mention! I follow Geta's Quilting Studio
ReplyDeletewho is in Romania, and a couple of people over in Australia, and I'm from the UK originally and now live in the US, so maybe there's some suggestions for the multicultural mugrug collection! :)
