A love affair with hand-dyed fabric (Hoffman 1985 Bali Handpaints Bubblegum Bundle)
A design idea taking seed...
A lot of sketching, excitement, sewing...
A chance email contact...
A QUILT BEING POSTED OFF TO AUSTRALIAN PATCHWORK AND QUILTING MAGAZINE TOMORROW!!!

I won't show you the whole thing - I'll wait until I have a good photo and until it's published (if I can wait that long!). But here are some snippets that show the journey.


It is somewhat uncreatively called "The Rabbit Tree". I was all out of inspiration. Let me know if you have any better ideas - but The Rabbit Tree has stuck in my head...

The owner saw it on the weekend and she loved it - I was SO pleased - big sigh of relief!
