| Patches votes for Sugar and Spice |
It's not a project but it is fabric related for Fabric Tuesday over at Quiltstory and the pictures are cute so I had to share...
A bundle arrived on Sunday (weird, must be the start of the Christmas weekend post run). It was a lovely parcel of Little Peeps and Riley Blake Sugar and Spice from Lola Pink fabrics. (They post so fast and always write a little note which is lovely!).
My little boy is quite sick but he has not retired from fabric testing yet. He voted for Sugar and Spice over the Peeps. The little demon has always had a sweet tooth - he got off his sick bed the other night and stole 3/4 block of Cadbury dark chocolate from the kitchen table, then roared around the garden three times in the night and was bright as a button the next day. I nearly saved a lot of vet bills and wrung his neck myself. Chocolate - bad for dogs? He is not going to get better so maybe I should just feed him chocolate? - the uber expensive vet medicine doesn't seem to be helping.

I have to say S&S speaks to me more - I feel some applique coming on with this line of fabric!
There was also a full 1.5 yards of the purply "forest floor" Terrain print which will become a skirt over the Xmas break :)

I think that will make a lovely skirt!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your dog.
Sorry to hear your woofer is poorly honey but he's got fab taste in fabric and chocolate!
ReplyDeleteSorry your little guy isn't well. But I can understand your wanting to kill him over the choc incident and subsequent night time escapades.
ReplyDeleteSunday parcels. What fun :)
oh no - hope he's on the mend soon - hey, did you see sewcalgal is hosting a fmq along next year?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for mentioning our shop on your wonderful blog. We are loving the cute pics of your pups. You chose some very pretty fabrics. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteOh bless Patches! How cute, and good taste - fabric and chocolate, smart dog!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of "Terrain" which I am planning to use to make baby girl her baby quilt (When I start it I mean). So sorry to hear about the chocolate. I had a cat who did something similar with a box of sweets and got super sick! Tell me though, the doggie did avoid the fabric, aye?
