So what would I choose? I started with Alexander Henry's Rivoli and worked around that. I used the shop by theme 'modern' browse option which was helpful (not helpful to my credit card, because I discovered a heap more designers and ranges that appealed to me!).
It was so hard limiting myself to 12 prints and 3 solids. There are SUCH lovely choices at the Fat Quarter Shop. I'm just grateful it's online and I can't get into an actual store and walk around - I think I'd have a meltdown faced with that much choice in real life.
For solids – I went with Kona because I have a Kona color card on hand.
I used this mosaic maker which is super easy and requires no downloads.
As this is fabricky, I'll link up with Quiltstory's Fabric Tuesday (if it's running over the Xmas break).
Thanks to the Fat Quarter Shop for sponsoring. If you win, you need to be able to provide the code (SKU) for each fabric, so mine are below.
For those following the blogwar, I'd just like to mention this post by Sunni. If you want her vote, you might have to go with 'smelly' themed fabric palette. I believe she's coming up with one herself featuring regurgitated carrot colour, baby-poo brown and snot and compost tones. (Twitter #blogwar). :D

ReplyDeleteI found my most favorite colors while entering this giveaway! Thanks for that!
ReplyDeleteI have a quilt that I am thinking about making for my father, and used my power colours for three people. This will be my first quilt with fabric that I planned for (if I win). I normally go to thrift and donation stores to gain fabric; since I've been quilting for 2 yrs now. Thanks to everyone for making the dream possible, in this economy.
