Occupy your sewing room - ADHD

I was planning to occupy my sewing room, along with CatPatches, but I didn't get very far.

I did a bit of sewing for my hostile takeover of guest post on Sunni's blog (LoveAffairWithMyBrother) on December 21 when she is off at Jedi camp but I can't show you the results yet. (Don't tell her, it will spoil the suprise attack).

So I was going to work on one of the 20,000 WIPs. But I have sewing ADHD so I will show you my excuses / what other people manage to finish instead.

Seriously, how am I supposed to concentrate when there are images like this around, from GenerationQ's article on working with felt?

 So I had to go out and buy felt of course. Have. To. Make. Hedgehog....

There's also this pattern from DIY Fluffies which is also a terrible distraction and to blame for me getting little sewing done/finished.

 So I went and bought fuzzy stuff. I got one wing done and the spine cut out.

And then there was Rhianon's twister quilt tutorial. I nearly got the Lily and Will charm pack out straight away, but I restrained myself.   Rhianon does not suffer from sewing ADHD at all. I am jealous, so I keep sending her messages on facebook about how lovely and sunny the weather is here while she is freezing her toes off in Scotland.



Right, now to clean house and make more pasta before dinner guest arrives.
Maybe I'll occupy tomorrow instead...

    I finished my second top for the week today!

    When I'm finished here I'm going to sew curtains - I don't need much encouragement to occupy my sewing room (especially since my computer is in here too)!

    Ooh, I have that dragon pattern. I was supposed to be making one this weekend, but my order of fleece didn't show.
