FMQAL - catchup

And hard on the heels of week 5's first two blocks, here is the catchup block from last week. Well, TWO catch up blocks actually, so you can choose which you want.  Aren't I nice?
Geometric spirals

Fireballs
"Wow, how you've improved Laura!" I hear some of you say. "Look at those amazingly even stitches!"
"Hang on, the stitching on these two blocks is too even to be hers", I hear others mutter.

Well, the second set of voices are right.

These are the promised blocks from Helen Godden and Michelle Pearson, two Aussie stars. Both ladies used the Sweet Sixteen machine. Michelle is the number one seller of the SS outside the US. She's good at her sales but it's more the support she provides that have people coming all the way from Queensland to buy from her (which is about as far as you can travel in Australia without crossing an ocean.

First is Helen's block which is a nice geometric take on the spiral design. I have a feeling this is going to require some tracing first. Helen used my block so I haven't tried it yet!

Second, Michelle has done Quilted Fireballs (in two parts). (Do you think she got a manicure just for the video? lovely nails).
