FMQAL - More McTavishing

I apologise, block four of this row didn't happen. Well, it kinda did but I didn't post because of technical difficulties.

Here's the story.
At the Helen Godden class I went to last week, I had a brainwave, and asked Michelle, the owner of Handcrafter's House in Midland and the top Sweet Sixteen dealer outside the US if she'd do a block for us. She said "Sure! How about we ask Helen to do one too?" Eek, squeak, like I could turn down a block by Helen Godden!

They even videoed it so you could see exactly how they did it. This is where the technical difficulties came in. Michelle is still trying to upload it to YouTube, so I will post it when she does and we can catch up on the blocks then. :)

If you can't wait, Leah Day has a variety of patterns based on McTavishing.

Or, you can try quilting a larger shape or shapes (like the flowers we did earlier) and filling in around them with McTavishing.

Or you can wait for the Helen and Michelle patterns! I told you this would be choose-your-own-adventure!

So it's time to linky up, and then, sometime in the next row - be still my beating heart - Leah Day is guest posting!

Don't forget, tomorrow is Friday and that means TGIFF for finishes! :)

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
