Diamonds are a girl's best friend...

Well, some girls...

I picked up some 60 degree diamond paper pieces at the craft fair and have been slightly obsessively hand sewing diamonds.

Some members of this household do not agree with this new fascination. These were the instructions:

Worse was catching the little monster removing the paper for me... Not the right bit. She still has to work on her technique.

And I've said a sad sayonara to the Do.Good Stitches bee. Here are my last two blocks.

I really liked how these turned out. :) One bee a month is enough for me however, so these were my last for dgs. With the Perth Modern Quilt group ramping up, I need every spare minute!

Joining up with Lyn at BOMs away Monday (a bit late but better late than never!).

But muuuuum, it tastes good! And you did put it right in front of me, how was I meant to know it wasn't dinner?!

Made it - all posts from 1 March forward read! I'm up-to-date! (Who da thunk it?)

The diamonds look great. I'm not surprised you're enjoying them. Just as well you don't need instructions though. Too funny! :)
I bet it's hard to tell them off when they look so cute and innocent :)

What a rascal! LOL. I am in *love* with your diamond stitching. Definitely going to have to try those out after I finish my Dear Jane! (That'll be late 2013. . .) Nice to see you at BOM's Away :D

Beautiful hand sewing! I'm so impressed-- I don't know if I have the patience, but it's gorgeous.
