TGIFF: Pegasus

Friday already - eek! Where does the week go? I was hoping to finish my FMQAL, but it was not to be. So I got moving on finishing the 'paintchwork' I started back in March.

As I wanted a curved edge (and couldn't be bothered cutting 'real' bias binding), I tried the 'bagging' method of finishing for the first time. Basically, that means the backing is sewn on 'face to face' with a gap left to turn it inside out.
It made it a little puffier than usual, but that was fine by me. No mishaps, done without ado! So here is the finished product.
So there's mine. What have you finished?! If you linky up, remember to linky back here or to TGIFF!

  2. That is so cool! It looks awesome, Laura. So you quilt it first, then paint it with Jacquard paints? Did you have to do any other quilting once you pillowcased it and stitched around the edges? I have to give this a try some time.
