TGIFF: Fantastic Foxy Loxy Folder

Practically Paper PiecingI have a finish I'm VERY pleased with. I was hoping to get this little foxy finished for my post in Kristy's Practically Paper Piecing bloghop, but it didn't happen. But now it has been transformed.
I added some Kona Sour Apple solid, some more Across the Pond which I won ages ago from Erin at Billy Button design, and some Moda Simply Color. It went from this:

To this:

Hello Foxy!!! "But what is it Laura?", I hear you say.
Wait a minute. Appreciate the corn-echo in the free-motion quilting, the blending of the colours...
Oh okay, let's open it up... So impatient.

Oooh, two little plastic pockets! And is that a ruler in the background?
Show us more!
Here it is!
It's a hard cover portfolio which fits my small cutting mat without allowing it to bend, my small quilter's ruler, and as you can see, my large scissors and rotary cutter fit too. It's AWESOME.
I took about a thousand photos of how I did it, so I may do a tutorial sometime, but it would take a few posts, so I'm thinking possibly a quilt along-quilter's portfolio if there's the interest. Let me know if you would join in!

TGIFF this week is at Amy's Crafty Shenanigans, so hop on over and say hi!

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
