I vowed not start any new projects, but then I started Elizabeth Hartman's Craftsy class, watched the scattered squares tutorial, and somehow, this happened.
Oops! I know JUST how to quilt it and it's going to hang above my sewing desk. I think I'm pretty good with colour, but this class gave me a whole new way to look at fabric selection. So much fun. If you haven't tried a Craftsy class, I recommend it.
In other WIPs, I've received Quilt Club Australia Bee blocks from six people. I'm not going to put them all close together like this, but for the sake of looking at them all together, here they are... (Indoor photography and I - not good friends!)
So pleased with how these blocks are turning out! It freaked quite a few of the bee members not having a set pattern to follow but they're turning out beautifully. I can't wait to get them all!

The quilt top is really nice. What class did you take?
Love the Frank Lloyd Wright (or...something else?) stained glass quilt -- it's FAB.
Really loving your bee quilt blocks so far.
Thanks for the craftsy class tip. I might give one a try. Your quilt is looking good
Yeah sorry, I'm a little behind with your block. Will get it to you soon. Loving the look of it so far. :)

Your bee blocks look fantastic! Look forward to seeing how you quilt the scattered squares :o)
Liking your fabric choices in the scattered squares!
The Bee blocks are looking great together. I'm keen to see how you put it all together!
I just tried my first Craftsy class, lots of fun.
Your quilts are looking wonderful.
I think the bee blocks look fabulous! So Mondrianesque!
My first sampler quilt was an Elizabeth Hartmann tutorial series!
Your bee blocks look great!
Think this has to be the most original bee block choice I've seen! I would have loved this one instead of that freakin' (hehe) feathered star.
I am liking what I see on your design wall.
the first quilt is very pretty in those colors. I love the stained glass quilt
I love the Mondrian bee blocks - such lovely simple lines and colours:)
oh very pretty!!
Seriously love how those bee blocks turned out. except there's one that doesn't look destijl to me. I don't know if they used triangles. and yes, my art geek is showing.
side note, every time I go to comment on your blog I end up putting it in the feedburner area. it looks deceivingly like the comment area. :)
How good are those blocks!? ;) I think Mondrian would be proud.
I love the Mondrian style blocks--they're awesome!
Very cool. I love the colors of the first project!
I'm looking forward to seeing what the Mondrian blocks become. They are very nice.
Great bee blocks. I better it freaked some out, but they did great.
