The Big Reveal

By the time you read this, I'll have MET Katy and Danny in person. And Cori, and Charlene, and Erica (the mysterious roomie). And. And. And....

And I HAD to have something to give the Katy and the Danny and of course, they stalk my blog, and of course, I couldn't leave Erica feeling unloved...
So name tags it was.

I showed you the back of Danny's. You may have guessed what I was doing.
Here's the front, unbound.
And here's Katy's, which incidentally looked the best BEFORE I painted it. I'm not so sure about after.
 And here are Erica's and mine in process - after round 1 of painting, after FMQing, before paint coat number 2.

And here are the finished products.

Danny's looks like magical toothpaste. Mine looks like it has snakes crawling all over it, which was NOT what I intended. They were meant to be interwoven ribbons. Katy's looks better in photo than it does in person to be honest, and Erika's is a bit technicolour vomitty. Sorry Erica. But you all have to wear them for three days. Mwhahahahaahaha.

I actually think they'd make nice bag-tags when their use as name tags is over.

And after wracking my brains, the best idea I could come up with for Katy was a notebook for sketching ideas in with a texty fabric cover.

 I hope they like them don't hate them too much!!!
