Travellin' Pic-Stitch Update

It's started, it's started! So far, Katy @ I'm I'm A Ginger Monkey and Charlotte @ Lawson And Lotti have taken us from the coast road of California to the just as spectacular coast road of south-eastern Australia.

Tomorrow, it's back to England with Danielle @ DJ Coolbear - will we have more coastline? We'll have to wait and see! Danielle also has a video (in her lovely kiwi accent) on drafting hexys and sewing diamonds on her videos page.

For the rest of the first week, we have:
4 October - Chelsea @ Pins & Bobbins
5 October -  Heidi @ fabricmutt.blogspot.com
6 SPECIAL DONKTOBER POST with Erin @ MissyMacCreations

And rounding up Week One is Miss Sarah "Jazz Hands" Fielke @ The Last Piece.

Don't forget, anyone can join the linky party on November 30th for some great prizes from our sponsors. The posts are sure to keep you inspired, and if you need supplies...

  • Paperpieces.com is offering you 20% off your paper pieces at paperpieces.com using  PAPER20 on checkout.
  • Templates are available from QuiltJane (she also has Sewline glue pens). Sarah Fielke also has some kite templates hand.
  • For fabric supplies, be sure to check out our sponsors: Pink Castle Fabrics for some fat eighth bundles (EPP15 for 15% off pre cuts and bundles), Fabricworm for gorgeous organics and custom bundles, and Fat Quarter Shop for one of the biggest ranges on the web. And I've just noticed that Marmalade fabrics has some REALLY funky stuff in. Check this Center City collection out! Brenda (Pink Castle) is a keen paper piecer and Tammy (Marmalade Fabrics) is hoping to find time to give it a go, so keep an eye on their blogs.
  • And of course, don't forget Aurifil for your thread needs.

If you need more 'how-to's, Rachel over at Stitched in Color made this lovely video for the star-blossom block.

I can't wait for the next post. Hope you're as excited as I am!

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
