Scheduling confusion reigned yesterday so please go and visit our three lovely bloghoppers, Cyndi @ Cyndistitches AND Gemma @ PrettyBobbins AND Caryn @ WithArmsWideOpen!
This week, one of our lovely sponsors, Paper.pieces.com has free shipping - EVEN INTERNATIONALLY - for Thanksgiving. I'm hooked and ready for some new pieces as I've FINISHED ANOTHER BLOCK!
For this one, I have to rewind to Monument Valley.
I actually did a little sewing here. We toured Monument Valley in a 4WD open sided truck thing in the morning and then went back for some sunset photos under our own steam. While Katy slept, I did a bit of fabric-photography with the Indie, that the FatQuarterShop sent us.
Monument Valley was just stunning during the day.
And as the sun went down, the darker hues of purple and burgundy started to emerge.
The purples didn't come out so well on the photos - well, not according to the palette builder.

So maybe the food can contribute?!
The more I've worked with Indie, the more it's grown on me. I'm thinking this medallion may even become a skirt detail.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine's just about finished - another 5 days till the next!
Love the photos Laura...Got an order from paper pieces last week but might just hop over there again.
