Travellin' Pic Stitch: the Vegas Star

When in Vegas...
As Tammy had so kindly already chosen a photo AND fabric for us, it was a piece of cake to pull a block together on the road trip! Lucky cos I was FAR to busy having fun to take photos or choose fabric!!!

This bundle is available at Marmalade Fabrics here and contains 1 fat quarter of each of the following:
Heath Chartreuse
Mod Century Stars Turquoise
Moda Bungle Jungle
Bella Tav Warm Grey Dots
Kona Charcoal

As Tammy had made this so darn easy for me, I started it before we hit Vegas at the Grand Canyon, by land and by water on our boat trip (but I'm not showing that picture as it was so darn cold I didn't take my beanie off and look like a mad scarecrow with sunglasses on...)

With Vegas and fireworks, I decided it HAD to be star shaped rather than flower shaped so here are a few pics.
WIP by the pool with Aurifil threads from Pat Sloan's Eat your fruit and veg collection

And here is the finished block!
