Travellin'PicStitch: Mesa Verde Edition

Mesa Verde was one of my favourite parks for both scenery and interesting history.
It was one national park that we can largely thank women for, but try finding that information on-line...
Gender politics aside, here is my Mesa Verde palette. I'm pretty sure the dark apricot colour is the tourists shirt, but it's not too far off the paint colours inside one of the houses!
Here is my NEARLY finished block. I'll be on a plane when this posts, and it WILL be finished but wifi and time between now and then is in limited supply!

A month of the Travellin' Pic Stitch bloghop is over and we've had some incredible photos, palettes and block. Please keep your seat belts fastened until the warning signs are turned off at the linky party on November 30.
For the first week of the November, we are travelling from Japan to Morocco, and who knows where in between!

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
