Watch your ASS

I know you have been missing the ASS guru's posts since Sewing Summit... Or not. As my mother said, "If you'd started later, you might still be funny". Thanks Mum.

 Well we met up. In real live. Obviously. And we were recognised. Or rather, as many as three people said "OMG, you guys are the ASS gurus!!!" which was really rather gratifying. Other people just frowned disapprovingly.

As it was Salt Lake City and there were people to be offended, we behaved ourselves. (We do usually to be honest, it just FELT like we had to be extra good which of course led our perverse streaks to wanting to do wild things we would never actually do...) .

Katy had screen-printed us some amazing t-shirts for the occasion. But we were too scared to wear them out in public in SLC in case we got tied to a dunking stool or burned at the stake. As everything is closed on a Sunday, you felt like you were being MADE to be good, and nothing brings out the rebellious streak like that, does it? We just felt LED to rebel. So we hid in a corner of the hotel late at night to take these photos - not without getting a seriously appreciative chuckle from some man who was passing by en famille while his wife was trying to distract the kiddies from reading our shirts. (Seriously, it was 11pm people. That's way past kiddy bedtime).

So there you have it folks, the Alternate Sewing Summit gurus together at last. Three days was just not long enough to catch up. Next time, it's Danny's turn to travel and Katy and I will toss for who hosts!
