Bike for a Cancer Cure

It is time to find a Cure for Cancer. My friend Jodie's husband died 17 years ago from a cancer that is manageable by drugs today, leaving her with a 1 year old baby.

Jodie is one of my best quilting buddies  - we met at a pasta class, with Jodie muttering over a pasta rotary cutter and some pink tortellini that this was JUST like fabric and she SHOULD be able to cut straight... When she saw my "What Cancer Cannot Do" quilt, she asked where to get the panels from and I ended up offering her one of the sets I'd bought... She got to work A LOT faster than me, and came up with this quilt to auction for her Cure for Cancer ride.

She's riding for TWO WHOLE DAYS through the south west of Western Australia on a mission.

Please have a look at Jodie's story and the quilt she is auctioning off here . We will ship anywhere if you want to bid on it!

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
