My one coveted blue unicorn graces the front...

And a mermaid and a prince charming / frog are the perfect companions on the other side for some fairytale reading... They all look like they are dreaming of something pleasant!
A lovely bright interior completes it...

I used Anna from Noodlehead's tutorial.
Other than that...
We have played with other dogs at Cavalier playdate Perth...
And with children most days ... They are really the best toys. (This is Alex).
We have a new car. :) A Subaru Impreza. When the guy looked my surname up on computer, he looked up and asked me "are you David or Laura?" I glared at him and asked "Do I REALLY look like a David?". Apparently girls don't buy Subarus.
And we have new hair! Well, I do at least. (The dogs still have their old hair, no new styles for them!). I haven't had it this short for a few years now and it's taking some getting used to, but I do like it!
That's my check in for the week. Any kindle tips would be good - where to find books or some reading recommendations for my Easter weekend! Hope you all have a good one!

It sounds like good times over your way! I've had a paperwhite for a few weeks now - I love it! I haven't got far into them yet, but never having actually read Jane Austen, I got her complete works for $1. Do check, because some books are actually cheaper in paper from through the Book Depository.
ReplyDeleteLove the short hair! I have a Nook that only gets read when I travel, so I don't really have any book recs.

ReplyDeleteLOVE the hair!!
Great job with the Kindle cover. Love the new 'do!
ReplyDeletelove your hair. I'm considering a shorter 'do' soon and yours is inspiring me.
ReplyDeleteI have a Kindle but I rarely use it now that I have an iPad! Thanks for the tip about free books!
ReplyDeleteLove it. I've been looking for tutorials for e-readers as I'm going to get one soon. I love books but I just have nowhere to store them.
ReplyDeleteThe metropolitan library system allows you to check out e-books free online. Their selection is a bit limited but they do have some good stuff so maybe you can find something to read there (I hate paying $15 for a book that I can't even hold in my hands).
ReplyDeleteKindle case is fabulous! Pups are amazing...great new car and hair!!
ReplyDeleteSo, David, when did you have the surgery?

ReplyDeletethey offer free books every day - some are quite good and a way of introducing you to new authors - you then may choose to buy other books in a series.
Welcome to the worl of instant gratification book buying :)
ReplyDeleteLovely case to keep it in too
If you do the Amazon Prime, you can swap ebooks with other users for free all the time. Our library also pays for Overdrive which allows you to check ebooks out for free. If you want old books, there are many available for free in lots of different places including Amazzon, I believe.
ReplyDeleteLove the pouch and your hair looks fabulous!! Enjoy your Easter sexy!
ReplyDeleteYou're already reading my series ;o) I scared the salesmen when I went car shopping, I hope you did too :oD Loving the new do (how gritted are your teeth in that pic?)
