Wishing...

I'm at home with stomach flu. Enough said about that.
My sewing room is having similar problems. It has fabric exploding from every orifice. So even though the FQS is offering 40% off international shipping, I can't order any more fabric to make myself feel better. Because fabric does that you know...

So I've had to content myself with window shopping. (This is NOT a sponsored post. I'm just indulging myself with a spot of window shopping).

If I had unlimited time and space for quilting, here are the top three on my wish list.

  1. Glimma, by Lotta Jansdotter. Just send me everything by her. Now, please.

2. Spirit Lake, Indian Summers. Cute. Neutral. Totally modern colours. Teal love for me in there. Soft and beautiful.

3. Carnaby St by Pat Bravo is totally different from my first two picks, but it's calling to my love of brights...

And as a single cut, this is possibly the cutest single fabric I've seen since .... since the last cutest single fabric I saw (which was possibly Mon Amis by Patty Solinger). This is Yay! Day! by Emily Isabella for Birch. I'm a sucker for cutesy kid prints!

Now, I just need a bigger house, a long arm machine, to give up my day job and have unlimited income. Feasible, right?
As I can't indulge myself, I'd love to see what others are lusting over! What is your favourite line of fabric at the moment?

  2. I wrote you a comment before, but it never appeared. :( I just did a similar "I wish" post. I think you should move here and we can be quilt making hippies together. I'll build you a hammock in the backyard.

  3. I am with you on the Glimma - I love it. My brain isn't functioning too well though, with three little kiddliwinks around for the week. It's so loud and untidy in my house.

  4. I would love to get my hands on Comma & Architextures. Since we are dreaming, half yard bundles of both full collections would be so nice. This is the first I've seen Indian Summer, {swoon} it is love at first sight - and I could soooo justify it with three boys around here. I'm not sure if I should thank you or curse you for introducing me to another fabulous line to lust after ;)

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
