I have a finish which I sent to my friend Louise in Sydney. It hasn't got there yet and she promised she wouldn't look at my blog, but I decided to remove the post anyway, and show you a little revenge sewing...
Since I got this little monster, she has eaten 5 pairs of shoes, including my flip-flops
and my favourite work shoes..
And of course, who could forget the glitter?
Well, the weather is getting colder here and Scarlett's coat is still fairly thin, so she needed a winter coat. I had some green fleece that I bought to make a dragon softy with (it didn't happen) but... well, an idea popped into my head for a little revenge... Meet my monster...Hahahaha, I laugh every time I see her in it. She glared at me balefully for about half an hour then seemed to forget about it. Well, it amuses me and keeps her warm - win-win!!!
Linking up with TGIFF which is on at MsMidge's.

Well deserved I'd say! Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteHaha! That is fantastic! She still looks like butter wouldn't melt, but :o)
ReplyDeleteYour right, she does look a little baleful In an adorable sort of way. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteShe is such a honey!
ReplyDeleteWell done little, sweet monster - you managed to get the most unique doggy coat! You don't look at all monster with that very stylish outfit! x Teje
ReplyDeleteRevenge is sweet :oD
ReplyDeleteHa! :) That will teach her! ;)
ReplyDeleteLaura Lochore, I think I love you! It just arrived and it's bloody amazing. Thank you, thank you, a million times I thank you. Made me laugh AND cry. I don't know how to thank you. I will now start parading it around the office. You're amazing.

I have to say I was intrigued by the term 'revenge sewing' and now I see what you mean! Love it! Maybe she was channelling a little Molli Sparkles when she went for the glitter!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I might have to do some revenge sewing for my kitten! :-)
ReplyDeleteDropped by from TGIFF. A woman to my own heart - our dog has so many 'outfits' you just wouldn't believe it, everyday clothes, party dresses and fancy dress outfits - my favourite is when we dress her as a Bumble Bee. This is just adorable :)
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! I must say she does look a little indignant ;) What a cute monster!
ReplyDeleteAh, what an adorable monster! Stars went through the puppy chew stage attacking bookshelves, beds (antique, sigh), my good Italian shoes (bigger sigh), and one book. But, he did grow out of it and we gave him lots of love...and chews. But they do love good shoe glue it seems, so hide whatever is left of your shoes, lol.
ReplyDeleteLol! That is fab!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Revenge is good. How about a matching hat? :)
ReplyDeleteI have this same problem, but with my birds. They will happily chew up my shoes and put holes in perfectly good fabric. What is up with that?
ReplyDeletehahahaha! love it!
ReplyDeleteVery hilarious! What we do to our dogs for our own amusement:)
ReplyDeleteShe is such a cute little monster! and you shouldn't have such tasty shoes...
