Isn't it satisfying when you go from this:
to this ...To this...

And you can START to see what the finished product will look like?
I have shamelessly borrowed some of the quilting design from Green Fairy Quilts but other bits I have dreamed up (or am still dreaming up) myself. I'm quilting my little heart out. It's not going to win any awards, but I love it, and it's going to be my best to date... It's just WORKING. :)
In non-sewing news, a bottle of glitter fell off the shelf in my sewing room, unnoticed by me... Scarlett has been renamed Sparkles and is passing disco-balls.

It's looking awesome Laura! Love the texture your quilting is giving it.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking terrific, Laura! I've been quilting up a storm today, too. I had to laugh at the glitter - the tooth fairy left some behind in Eleanor's room last night, and now it's scattered through the whole house!
ReplyDeleteGot to love it when a plan comes together. Scarlett brings a whole new meaning to shitting rainbows and unicorns...
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous. I have a layer cake of Terrain that I have yet to decide what to do with.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! It's wonderful when it all comes together like that....not that I have a lot of experience with that! My little Jack Russell ate crayons once which made for colorful, interesting excrement.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking great, Laura! Sparkles - lol!
