I had a lovely relaxing weekend, but I didn't feel like I got a LOT of sewing done. I took too many projects, not the right supplies for all, and my small machine. When you are making jewellery cases, and sewing through plastic, zips and layers of soft-n-stable, you need the right tools. Plus it's hard to sew straight after
I also pieced the top of our PMQG modern block quilt. In case you are wondering, I asked for blue, green and aqua on grey. I am going to talk Bev in particular into visiting the optometrist soon. She turned 40 this year so is getting quite elderly.
I also got Batdog's batdog coat almost done. Just forgot the right colour for binding. I think a bright orange would be nice!
That's about it for WIP wednesday from me!
LOL on your guild members eyesight, I mean color choices. It still looks great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a striking colour combo! Very mod darling. x
ReplyDeleteCan I please just say that I completely missed the request for specific colours.... Was I at that meeting? Maybe I was away with the fairies (at work!) or it could just be a bit of post birthday dementia kicking in.....
ReplyDeleteI was just experimenting to see how the lemons and limes would look with some bright bold solid colours, honest!
I await the revenge when it is time for you to make my block of the month!!
too funny! It still looks great though and I love the start of your case :)
ReplyDeleteVery red block but it ooks great!
ReplyDeleteI love the fabric of red, white and black! What line are they?
ReplyDeleteI like both color choices. Thanks for sharing all this information --- except the elderly poor eyesight at 40 statements.
ReplyDeleteCute! Even with the fabric swaps it looks fun.
ReplyDeleteHehe, that's some very colourful grey. Maybe there's some colourblindness there :)
ReplyDeleteROFL, well, it's 'special' :oD
