Something fishy...
Well here is a sneak peek at the first two blocks of the "Calling Me Home" quilt. I really like the way the fish has worked out - all cut from one piece of (evidently magic) fabric! The fish is the second block - the first was the mountains and eagle - I have yet to add the fisherman (you can see his trousers there! rest to be finished!).
My second McKenna Ryan quilt arrived too. It was meant to go straight into the cupboard, BUT it arrived smelling of tobacco, despite coming from a 'smoke free home' - maybe they just used the fabric to press tobacco leaves?! So I'm washing every little tiny bit of fabric which is taking quite a bit of time!
