Quilt Tester

I am very fortunate to have the services of a professional quilt tester on premises.
Meet "Patches", quilt dog test-driver extraordinairre.

Quilt-dog test drive
He takes his duties very seriously and tests at even the very early stages of quilt making. For example, put a few squares out to see how they'd look together - he'll sit on them. Put fabric on the couch sorted into separate piles of colours - he'll jump up, turn around a few times to shift them into a new arrangement, and sit on them to try it out.
Here, he is testing a quilt featuring Michael Miller's Flower Fairies fabric (which was NOT printed straight on the fabric and fussy-cutting them caused a lot of - well - fuss). I'm happy with the colours but am currently debating what the borders should be. I should possibly have continued the check motif but the original plan introduced another flower fairy fabric, which doesn't look right now, so it's back to the thinking-board. Any suggestions?

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
