Bargain buys

I dropped by a chance garage sale on the weekend. I walked away $4 poorer with: 2 yards of black Thai woven sarong, which wants to become two beach bags (started not finished)



And 2 yards of Malaysian batik (this is what real batik looks like peoples!)




I dropped into a local textile shop to get some interfacing for the bags and found this marked downto $2/m - from the Wizard of Oz range. $2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




Score!!!
Good work for $8!
Oh and bundles of polar fleece were also marked down to $4 so Lainey has a new blanky (to match her smart hair cut!)
