I showed a sneak peek at this last week, and now it is finished.
It's another little travelling jewellery case, this one for Danny. With whom I have a Skype date tomorrow to debate politely discuss Heather Ross fabric division.
So there is some surprise, there will be SOMETHING in the jewellery case, but Danny will have to wait to find out what it is.
Isn't it cute? I did better binding this one but I made different mistakes. I still need to make another to iron out the kinks in my methodology. But I am pretty sure Danny is not going to throw it back at me, stomping her foot and demand I do better. That would be more Katy's style from the sound of it...
Speaking of Katy's style, she has informed me that she doesn't do jewellery, makeup, girly clothes, or own a hairdryer or set of straighteners... And is into health food and is not a big drinker. So what does one take as a gift for an Irish-Scottish tomboy who makes her own teddybears? Any ideas? HELP!!!
Now TGIFF is over at Where Jane Creates so hop on over and say hi!
Yep, pretty darn cute!!
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you make Katy a teddy bear yourself?! :P
Love that fabric - Danny's a lucky one! Great job, Laura.
ReplyDeleteohh that's super cute!!
ReplyDeleteAs for Katy I have no clue!! She's pretty organised and always has lots on the go so maybe a journal cover and notebook for all her ideas??
xx
Yes, but I am sure she washes! so how about a neat little compartmented wash bag to hang off a doorhook?
ReplyDeleteYou could use some of that laminated cotton, or vinyl that is around.
Done?
ooh, just thought, teddy clothing?
ReplyDeleteGreat case.
ReplyDeleteRe Katy... Little teddy bear accessories? The first one that came to mind was a suitcase - seemed suitable :)
Also, I'm into healthy food and don't often drink, but choc is still me weakness. Maybe it'll be hers too :)
The roll looks great, and I do love Mamafairy's assumption that I wash. Well I do at least once every Michaelmas term... ;o)
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome, I'm still scared of zips!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to TGIFF :)
