Still time to vote...

After a hard evening in the spa at Jodies for the Perth Modern Quilt Guild Christmas Party - outside spa, jarrah deck, humid night - some rain but mostly around 27C - I'm just popping in to tell you there's 22 hours left to vote ...


But back to tonight - we often end up with animal visitors at PMQG meetings - that or thunderstorms. This time, we had both.

How cool is that? Does anyone else have quilt meetings in a spa with marsupials dropping in? Or is it just us? We don't get a lot of sewing done to be honest, but we have a lot of alcohol fun. ;)

Anyway, if the possums are out, it's time for me to go to bed. Two more sleeps until we hear the patter of tiny feet around here, and it WON'T be possums!

    At least those possums are cute. The ones we have here in the States are UG-LY!!

    I'm not a fan of possums. Some idiot decided to take them from Australia to NZ, and they became an environmental disaster. Much worse than the deer other idiots introduced to NZ so that they could hunt.
    But sounds like you had a fun night, even if evil little creatures were spying on you :)

    Being an Oz/Kiwi I'm not really a big fan of possums either, their fur knits up into really nice blankets and sox though :)

    Sounds like a fun night, though I do hope that the tree branch the possums were on, wasn't overhanging the spa.
