Quilting for Queensland

Another Queensland flood initiative is the Quilt for Queenland group on Facebook. Basically, make quilts for kiddies who have lost everything in the floods. I have a pile of fabric stashed, so time for a quickie I think (quilt that is!). A couple of hours after raiding my stash and a lucky find at Spotlight which matched some existing fabric beautifully (didn't go deliberately, I swear, went to help Quilting student number 4 out with her fabric selection), I had a quilt top in order, except for the usual (Cavalier) problem.
Cavalier not included
The need to give some applique practice tomorrow was in my mind when I did the bones. They think they're going to practice doing applique'd flowers.... Hehehe... Little do they know...

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
