Waiting impatiently...

I decided what the hell, life is short, I'll get more joy out of a new sewing machine than the extra money sitting in the bank in my mortgage account... So I ordered it. And I'm waiting... waiting... waiting for it to arrive. Sigh. Did not think it would take A WEEK! So impatient. In the meantime:

The commissioned bunny quilt is ready to be quilted. I have all my threads - so pretty! - just waiting for the machine (and my camera back - it's somewhere between here and Africa at the moment).

 The McKenna Ryan top is READY TO QUILT!!! This one is certainly waiting for the new machine.

 I went a bit mad thanks to a certain blog and started a mug rug. Love it.

 

Unfortunately the same blog has got me slightly obsessed with Heather Ross fabric - what I wouldn't give for some 'fish in bag' fabric, and the new Far far away line is lovely too... Which has started me looking for fabric - I MUST NOT BUY MORE FABRIC... Does a Kona Colour Card count???

And the other thing that I've finally got sorted is my paving out the front. No, I'm not going to use all these colours, you'll have to wait and see. But it did strike me that paving is just concrete patchwork. I won't mention that to my paving guys though - I'm not sure they'll see it my way!
