After a break

My camera has been on holiday - to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Africa, the Seychelles, the Maldives, Mauritius and Reunion Island. Lucky camera! But it's back now - if only I could find it under all this fabric....
Patches baggsing THIS fabric!
About eight lovely ladies from Facebook's Quilt Club Australia have all participated in a charm square I-Spy swap - so bundles have been arriving. The last one got here today from Queensland and of course, I had to sit down straight away and sort it out! My favourite was a Thelwellian pony fabric in bright red. I should post a pic but I honestly can't find my camera... It did come back from its cruise, I'm just too messy.

I've also been busy with renovations - well kind of. The garden is demanding a lot of work at this time of year. Mostly I ignore it and sew, but here's how my 'concrete patchwork' turned out:

Now I just have to move a 10 tonne load of mulch into the back yard  - oh I wish I was exaggerating!

And the Bazooples quilt I designed for my student has been finished - the top anyway - and I somehow ended up volunteering to quilt it, so that's in progress. Along with about 10 other works in progress... (Again, not exaggerating!)

Oh and www.redpepperquilts.com has a giveaway going on - some Little Apples fat quarters.
And yes, I have changed my blog title to something more memorable and in line with where I'm at at the moment. I just need a new banner!

Yippee - you're commenting! I _love_ comments. :) I've had so much spam lately though that I'm limiting to registered users for a bit to see if that works... If you're a friend, you can find me on Facebook and comment that way if you have trouble.
